
Kristen Upham is a strategic program leader, entrepreneur, and member of the Amskapi Piikani (Blackfeet Nation). With nearly thirteen years at Amazon, Kristen led global initiatives that supported small businesses, entrepreneurs, and brands entering digital marketplaces through effective e-commerce strategies. Her work included helping develop Amazon Seller University, one of the world’s most widely used digital learning platforms that enhances digital literacy for entrepreneurs. Today, Seller University receives more than 100 million views annually. Kristen also created the Amazon Indigenous Seller Program, an initiative designed to support Indigenous entrepreneurship by helping Indigenous entrepreneurs launch and grow businesses in global e-commerce. She later served as Indigenous Business Development Leader for Amazon Worldwide, working across regions to expand opportunities for Indigenous businesses. Additionally, Kristen is a Sequoyah Fellow through the American Indian Science and Engineering Society (AISES), recognized for advancing Indigenous leadership in science, technology, and innovation.
